  1. You are one of the strongest women I know and an amazing writer. Sometimes writing has to be put on hold for real life, but I think it always returns – when its suppose to.

  2. I agree with Amber. I also think that it can be like a faucet. At least it is for me. I turn on the idea machine and the ideas come like crazy in fiction and in non-fiction. When I left the newspaper three years ago, I had to shut down the idea machine. I saw possibilities everywhere.

    For you it’s also probably more difficult because of what you write. Anything that takes place in a different world, takes some time to create. It’s not like you’re out there searching foreign worlds for story ideas, so my advice, whether you want it or not, is to keep asking “what if?”.
